Owner and Barber

Founding The MacMillan Barber Co comes from past experiences sitting in the chair within various establishments.

My goal is to provide the opportunity to clients with a relaxing experience, offering them a possibility to explore their inner creativity and self confidence, away from the typical hustle of the mainstream barber shop.

My passion for the industry derives from a creative background, attention to detail and the understanding that individuality is what a client looks for in their style.

Meet Allan

Barber

Allan brings a wealth of knowledge & experience to the team. Whilst establishing a busy network of clientele working as a mobile Barber within the Ayrshire community, we are thrilled to have Allan as part of the crew at The MacMillan Barber Co.

“Having a passion for Men’s Health & Well-being, I pride myself in investigating the latest industry creations and styles, and encouraging my clients to build self confidence through their hair choices. I work with my clients, through detailed consultation, together we agree on the most appropriate style while upholding an opportunity for my clients to be expressive within themselves.

I also consider aftercare of the hair style, explaining to my clients the best methods in maintaining a healthy and fresh look.”

Meet William

Barber

William is the youngster of the team, but don’t let youth be confused with ability! An amateur Boxer in his spare time, this lad has all the tools at his disposal to knock out the best trending styles on show! Qualifying with highest grade achievable in Barbering, he has particularly excelled in his clipper work, with modern alternatives to the fade, tapers, mullets and much more!

“When The MacMillan Barber Co approached me to work with them I was initially apprehensive if I was the right type of Barber for their target audience, but since joining the team, it is clear that this establishment is really inclusive! Although it serves as a Traditional Gents Salon, the variety of amazing people I have had in my chair, from all walks of life gives me encouragement to keep plying my trade to the best of my ability. I do tend to get the younger folk in though, they think I’m trendier than Gerry & Allan!”
